Ray graduated from Mechanical Engineering in the United Kingdom in 1952 and later came to Canada, becoming one of North America's pioneers in the field of forensic engineering. Ray's distinguished career spanned five decades, involving the investigation and analysis of over 3,000 motor vehicle accidents across Canada.

Ray was an active member in the profession and continues to serve his community to this day. His expertise, integrity and honesty were well respected amongst his peers. Today, he enjoys retirement from his Toronto home when not on the golf course or jet-setting around the globe with his grandchildren.
